Brennen Wooten is an up-and-comer in the world that is Texas football. The 2016 quarterback has some good offers at this point, and is continuing to gain interest from top-notch programs. Prep Force recently interviewed him to see where he’s at in his recruitment. This guy is definitely an athlete to watch. He has some big-time programs coming after him, but he remains humbled knowing that it’s a blessing to have schools recruiting him this hard.

Q: Which schools have begun to stand out to you at this point?

A: “You know I have 8 offers right now. I don’t have any leaders. I have to take some more visits.”

Q: What type of offense do you want to play in at the college level?

A: “I would rather play in the pro-style. I like to be under center with one-back and take my 5-step drop.”

Q: Which teams have been coming after you the hardest at this point?

A: “Obviously the ones that have offered. Clemson, Kentucky, and TCU are recruiting me hard. Oklahoma and UCLA are ones that haven’t offered that are recruiting me hard, as well as Michigan State.”

Q: Which visits do you plan on taking that maybe you haven’t been able to take?

A: “I would like to go to Clemson, Kentucky, and Oklahoma.”

Wooten also added that while Texas has some top-notch programs, location isn’t a deciding factor for him. He is willing to go out-of-state.
