Roquan Smith is rated as the No.3 middle linebacker in the class of 2015. He holds offers from many schools across the nation, and Prep Force had the opportunity to ask him about a few of them recently.

Q: What stands out to you about Tennessee?

Roquan Smith: “Great group of coaches. Coach Butch is turning the program around.”

Q: What do you like about Georgia?

Smith: “It’s the home state school and a great college town. Coach Richt is a great guy, and they have great coaches who are turning the defense around.”

Q: Which out-of-state schools have stood out to you the most so far?

Smith: “Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida State, Clemson”

Q: What can you tell me about Auburn?

Smith: “Great school, it’s a great place. Very family-oriented.”

Q: What’s been your favorite part of the recruiting process so far?

Smith: “Just taking everything in. A lot of kids don’t get this opportunity, and it’s a blessing, so I’m just taking it all in.”

Q: What kind of factors do you consider most when looking at a school?

Smith: “Place that makes you feel at home, a good fit, and somewhere that supports my goals”
