The state playoffs in Oregon, Illinois and New Jersey shook up the rankings this week. Lake Oswego and St. Anthony were upset in their bids for a state title. Whitney Young lost to rival Simeon to end their season. Whitney Young still had a nice season which keeps them in the Top 10. The win also moves Simeon into the Top 5. Olympic (Charlotte, NC) makes their debut in the rankings this week. They are undefeated and are marching towards a North Carolina state title and an undefeated season. This week will provide the final shakeup in California where Mater Dei and Long Beach Poly battle on Tuesday with the winner set to face Etiwanda barring an upset.
