High School Football Week 4 Predictions

#15 St. John’s (DC) at #2 IMG Academy (FL) – St. John’s has been one of the biggest surprises in the country so far this year after they pulled in some impressive transfers over the Summer. They are led on offense by Kasim Hill but the defense has been their calling card. They have yet to allow more than 14 points this year while facing 3 very good opponents. The Cadets DL led by Camaron Spence and Tyree Johnson have played stout but will be up against a different animal this week when they face the IMG offensive line. We expect a low scoring affair but the Cadets but in the end the WR for IMG should be able to make some plays and lead them to the win.
St. John’s 17 – IMG Academy 24
Kahuku (HI) at #1 Bishop Gorman (NV) – Another week of predictions another week breaking down a Bishop Gorman game cersus a top opponent. This week they play their 4th top team from a different state. This time it’s Kahuku of Hawaii. The Red Raiders have not allowed a point in their last 3 games and beat another top 5 Hawaiian team, Wai’anae, 28-0. If this game was being played in Hawaii we would give the Red Raiders a better shot as the Gaels may be having too much fun in the sun but it’s not. That and the fact that Tate Martell is playing out of his mind right now and has shown the will to put the Gaels on his back when they need it. The only thing the Gaels have done wrong this year is play average in the first half so we could see this game being close for a bit but eventually Bishop Gorman pulls away again.
Kahuku 17 – Bishop Gorman 38
#3 Dematha at McDonogh – Dematha is all the way up to #3 in our rankings this week. The Stags are led by one of our favorite QB’s in the country 2017 Air Force committ Beau English. They have D1 talent on both sides of the ball and have put away opponents 132-34 in 3 games so far this season. McDonogh is led by Virginia Tech committ 2018 QB Dejuan Ellis who showed out despite geting hurt in the Eagles big win against another DC powerhouse Gonzaga earlier this year. If the Eagles are good enough to win at Gonzaga they should be conident enough to take down the Stags, but we can’t see it happening this week.
Dematha 38 – McDonogh 27
Deerfield Beach (FL) 14 at #10 Grayson (GA) 24 – Everyone should watch this game just to see Jerry Jeudy vs Jaymest Williams and Deangelo Gibbs.
#12 Mallard Creek (NC) 31 at South Pointe (SC) 23
East (UT) 31 @ De La Salle (CA) 37
Fayetteville (AR) 24 at Bishop Dunne (TX) 20
St Joseph’s Prep 27 at Archbishop Wood 13
Ben Davis 17 at Warren Central 31
Long Beach Poly 24 at Mission Viejo 45
