The matchups in week 2 weren’t as juicy on paper but the excitement on the field far surpassed any weekend in recent memory. It started on Friday night with two classic games in Texas and ended with an all time classic between IMG and Centennial. In all 5 ranked teams lost this week although 3 were to other ranked teams. The other 2 games were lost by Steele on the road in double OT to a very good Lake Travis team and by Austin Westlake who was playing without their stud QB. Four of the five teams dropped from the rankings although we could see all of them working their way back in later in the season. The only losing team that stayed in the rankings was Centennial and they actually rose a spot. They were a converted 2 point conversion from beating the #2 ranked IMG and they showed that they belong in the national discussion and have as good a chance as any team to win the California title.

Check back later this week for our predictions for all the big games this week and follow us on Twitter @PrepForce1 and like us on Facebook PrepForce to stay on top of the rankings all year.
