Week 6 doesn’t have near the lineup that week 5 did but there are some really intriguing matchups. The battle of private vs public in New Orleans highlights our slate of games this week. This is the second time these two teams have met with last year being the first. It was a controversial ending with John Curtis coming out on top at home. This year the game is at Easton and the Eagles will be looking for revenge. Another big revenge game this week is going down in Texas when St. Pius X goes to Plano to take on Prestonwood Christian. These two teams met for the TAPPS D1 title last year with the Lions coming out on top 42-41. There is a big battle of traditional private school powers going down in Kansas City between Bishop Miege and Rockhurt. The Stags have stolen the thunder of being the local powerhouse in recent years by rolling off state title wins. The scoreboard should be on fire in Arizona this week when Chandler and Perry meet. Chandler is always explosive and Perry has scored at least 66 points in their last 3 games.
