Khalil Ladler, the cornerback from the state of Georgia, figures to be one of the most sought-after defensive players in the 2016 recruiting cycle. We caught up with him recently for an interview.

Q: How do you begin to narrow down your lists of schools?
A: “Just see which schools really want me and how I fit into the program.”

Q: What was your visit to Tennessee like?
A: “It was exciting. I really wanted to go up there.”

Q: Why is Butch Jones such an effective recruiter?
A: “The excitement he brings. He is trying to bring Tennessee back to winning like before.”

Q: What’s your timeline on making a decision on a school?
A: “At the end of my junior year.”

Q: What kind of advice have you received from your older brother? (Kenny was an all SEC CB at Vanderbilt)
A: “He just told me to find which school fits me best athletically and academically.”
