Kameron Martin is a 4-star running back in the class of 2016, and the Texas native is gaining interest from some schools early. Some of the big schools that have offered Martin so far are Baylor, Texas Tech, Colorado, and Oklahoma State. He was recently on the University of Texas campus and expects an offer from them soon. I caught up with Martin recently to ask him a few questions.

Q: What schools haven’t offered that you are anticipating getting an offer from?

Kameron Martin: “Texas, Notre Dame, and Missouri”

Q: What can you tell me about Baylor?

Martin: “They were the second school to offer and they really saw something in me.”

Q: What can you tell me about Oklahoma State?

Martin: “I just keep building relationships with the coaches there. They told me they don’t really usually offer kids this young.”

Q: What kind of offense do you think best suites you?

Martin: “Spread offense, pistol style, something like Oregon runs”

Q: What are your thoughts on Charlie Strong?

Martin: “He’s about business. I can’t wait to get up there where I can get a chance to sit down with him.”

Q: Does location play a big part in your decision?

Martin: “No, it doesn’t play a big part.”
