Another great weekend of high school football is in the books and we have a new #1 team. Mater Dei played a complete game to end Bishop Gorman’s 55 game winning streak. We expected the Monarchs to win but the game was more lopsided than we expected. That plus the fact that the Monarchs played without 5 star WR Amon-Ra St. Brown was good enough to move them up to #1. St. Thomas Aquinas falls to #2 after another impressive performance by their defense.

IMG won the other big game of the weekend an easier than expected 40-20 over Centennial. Centennial stays at #6 despite the loss. Allen moves up to #7 following a good 23-8 win over Cedar Hill. #9 Grayson drops a few spots after a closer than expected 12-7 win over McEachern. St Joseph Regional jumps into the top 10 after exploding for 44 points in a win over a good Deerfield Beach team. The biggest riser of the week is #15 St. Frances Academy after a big win over Bishop Sullivan. The Panthers have their biggest game of the season as they travel to #3 IMG.
