Torrance Gibson is considered by many the # dual threat quarterback in the 2015 class. He has offers from many schools around the country including Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Florida, Florida State, and Miami (FL). I interviewed the highly-recruited quarterback recently, and here’s what he had to say.

Q: Which schools have you gotten a chance to visit so far?

Torrance Gibson: “Just Miami for now”

Q: How important is it to build a solid relationship with a coaching staff?

Gibson: “It’s important getting to know them outside of football because it’s not all about football.”

Q: Which college or pro player do you most compare yourself to?

Gibson: “Cam Newton and Michael Vick”

Q: What can you tell me about your visit to Miami?

Gibson: “I took a tour around the school and I got to talk with some of the football players and some of the coaches. I also got a chance to talk with Al Golden.”

Q: Are there any schools that want you to switch positions?

Gibson: “No, all of them are recruiting me as a quarterback.”

Q: What kind of offense do you think best suites your skillset?

Gibson: “Spread offense”

Q: What stands out to you the most about Ohio State?

Gibson: “How their coaching staff is one unit”

Q: When would you like to come to a final decision?

Gibson: “One week before signing day maybe, but I don’t have a set date yet.”
