One be shocker this week cause some shakeout in this week’s rankings. Miramar (FL) shocked previous #6 St. Thomas Aquinas this week. Not only did the win get Miramar into the rankings, it cause St. Thomas and John Curtis to drop out. While John Curtis won this week I couldn’t see keeping them ranked and not St. Thomas one week after losing to them at home. John Curtis can play themselves back in the rankings this week with a win versus #5 Edna Karr. Hamilton (AZ) also had another poor showing this week which dropped them from the rankings. Like John Curtis they to can play their way back into the rankings this week with a win at #11 Mountain Pointe. There are a couple of other great games this week with #1 Booker T. Washington taking on almost ranked Bishop Gorman (NV) and #2 Allen taking on almost ranked Coppell.

2) Allen (4-0) – Allen, TX – Defeated Hebron 36-17
3) Central (3-1) – Miami, FL – Went to New Jersey and pounded Don Bosco Prep 50-21.
4) Desoto (4-0) – Desoto, TX – Went on the road to Cedar Hill and destroyed them 47-20. The question is now becoming is Desoto or Allen the best team in Texas.
5) Edna Karr (2-0) – New Orleans, LA – Idle. Spent the week preparing for the game with John Curtis.
6) St. John Bosco (5-0) – Bellflower, CA – Andrew Katnik played well in a 24-10 win over Loyola but Loyola is not that good so Bosco falls a few more spots.
7) Paramus Catholic (3-0) – Paramus, NJ – Defeated Depaul 35-21. Will know a lot more about the Paladins after this week as they travel to Cleveland to take on St. Ignatius.
8 ) St. Joseph’s Regional (2-0) – Montvale, NJ – Idle. The game this week with Bergen Catholic is not looking as big as it was just a few weeks ago with Bergen struggling.

10) Hoover (4-0) – Hoover, AL – Defeated Northridge 56-14
11) Mountain Pointe (4-0) – Phoenix, AZ – Defeated Chandler 38-14. They appear to be hitting their stride just in time for the big showdown with at home with Hamilton.

23) Miramar (4-0) – Miramar, FL – Any team that goes to St. Thomas Aquinas and comes out with a win is a Top 25 team. The Patriots seem to have the Raiders number as this is the 3rd straight year they have beat them.
24) Manatee (4-0) – Bradenton, FL – The traditional nation power Hurricanes are back in the top25 after 3 solid wins so far this year plus this weeks 66-7 domination of Sarasota.
25) Salpointe Catholic (4-0) – Tucson, AZ – Salpointe appears to be the second best team in Arizona with Hamilton struggling. The Lancers already own two nice interstate wins over Liberty (NV) and Crespi (CA).

Dropped Out:
6) St. Thomas Aquinas – Ft. Lauderdale, FL
17) Hamilton – Chandler, AZ
24) John Curtis – River Ride, LA
