It was a week of unexpected top 10 losses around the country. The game of the week has to go to the overtime thriller between Bergen Catholic and St. Joesph’s Regional. St. Joseph’s got the win and it propels them in the top 25 this week. There was a lot of movement so check out the rankings to see where your team comes in.

1) Manatee (3-0) Bradenton, FL – Idle
2) John Curtis (4-0) River Ridge, LA – Beat Cohen 56-0
3) Bellevue (4-0) Bellevue, WA – Beat Lake Washington 56-0
4) Byrnes (5-0) Duncan, SC – Took care of Boiling Springs 35-7
5) Trinity (5-0) Louisville, KY – Got another close win over a good team in beating Cathedral (Indianapolis,IN) 24-16. If they keep letting teams stay close it could come back to bite them.
6) Narbonne 4-0 (Harbor City,CA) – Beat a solid Serra squad 22-9. This week another big test as Mater Dei comes for a visit.
7) De La Salle (4-0) Concord, CA – Beat Granada 48-14
8 ) Santa Margarita (5-0) Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – Won the battle against a good St. Bonaventure team 35-27, but lost the war as QB Johnny Stanton (Nebraska commit) was lost for the season to a torn ACL.
9) St. Ignatius (5-0) Cleveland, OH – Beat their second consecutive Erie, PA team McDowell 34-10
10) Hoover (4-0) Birmingham, AL – Defeated Northridge 55-7
11) Desoto (4-0) Desoto, TX – Beat Cedar Hill 48-35. Not as quite as bad as Allen and Washington (Miami,Fl) beat them but still a convincing win.
12) Katy (3-0) Katy, TX – Idle
13) Vista Murrieta (4-0) Murrieta, CA – Defeated Cathedral (San Diego, CA) 21-10
14) Allen (4-0) Allen, TX – Beat Hebron 42-17
15) Camden (4-0) Kingsland, GA – Idle
16) Butler (5-0) Matthews, NC – Beat Rocky River 40-6
17) Ensworth (6-0) Nashville, TN – Beat Battle Ground Academy 34-7
18) Our Lady of Good Counsel (4-1) Olney, MD – Gets back in the rankings as their early season win over St. Joseph Regional (Montvale,NJ) is looking much better now. This week defeated Gonzaga (Washington DC) 45-24
19) Colerain (5-0) Cincinnati, OH – With wins over St. Xavier (31-28) and Sycamore (28-21) they now appear to be the class of Cincinnati.
20) Bentonville (4-0) Bentonville, AR – Finally played a team from thier home state of Arkansas and beat Har-Ber 28-7
21) Norcross (4-0) Norcross, GA – Beat Duluth 36-7
22) American Heritage (4-0) Delray Beach, FL – Beat King’s Academy 59-0
23) Goose Creek (5-0) Goose Creek, SC – Beat Dutch Fork 28-17
24) University (3-0) Ft. Lauderdale, FL – I hinted earlier in the year they I thought they would be in the top 25 eventually and now is their time.
25) St. Joseph (2-1) Montvale, NJ – Took down Bergen Catholic 38-37 in an overtime classic to reign supreme as the best team in New Jersey for now.
