Game Of The Week Media Edition

Nebraska over Penn State – Penn State’s recent scandal has them marked as a team that will be the most watched in the country this weekend, something I don’t see as a good thing. Penn State was not very good to begin with, a distraction of this magnitude will not help. Nebraska got caught looking ahead to this game last week, so I expect a major bounce back. “Win one for the Groper”… fails!

Game Of The Week That Actually Matters

Oregon over Stanford – In a game of power vs speed in college football I tend to go with speed. Andrew Luck is unstoppable when he has Coby Fleener, Zach Ertz and Levine Toilol working out of a 3 tight end set. All three are NFL-esq huge targets and Luck’s instincts and accuracy are unmatched, however, Stanford is only a decent team when they aren’t running the 3-tight end set. And that may well be the case this Saturday as Ertz is out with an injury and Toilolo is a little banged up. While foolish naysayers will jump on the “Dont Suck For Luck” bandwagon, we still see him as by far the number 1 player in college football.

The Rest Of The 6 Pack

Iowa over Michigan State – Its quite simple Iowa has won every game they’ve played at home this year and lost everyone on the road.

FSU over Miami – FSU is possibly the best unranked team this late in the season EVER, as long as EJ Manual is healthy. They have outscored their opponents 250-49 in the full games he has played this year. Look for FSU to run away with this one.

Michigan over Illinois – Who can forget last years 3 OT thriller. Last year Denard Robinson got knocked out and michigan still won. This year I say he plays the whole game and they win again.

Georgia over Auburn – Auburns pass defense is nothing to write home about and Aaron Murray has been playing well of late. I expect UGA to score early and often and win by two TD’s.
