Russell Ude, who is rated a three-star prospect by Scout, has several offers and Oregon is one of the latest to do so. With a list of offers that includes Georgia, Miami, and Penn State, Ude is a prospect that many programs are after at this point.

His first offer came from Boston College, and that stands out as one of his favorite recruiting memories.

“I only played five games sophomore year because of my injury. I didn’t have much film, so it was great that the coaches believed in me and my ability and potential.”

Ude described the recruiting process as “crazy” and “exciting” and also added “you can’t expect anything, but it’s been a blessing.”

The defensive end said he was wide open in his decision at this point, but I asked him about an in-state school.

On Georgia- “It’s a great program. I feel like it’s a place I could be for 3-4 years. I know a lot of people there.”

He also has a timeline for when he would like to make a decision. “Hopefully late in the summer after I’ve taken my visits.”
